Getting Started & Pricing
Step 1 - Collect Content
Begin to collect digital images as well as video and biographical content for yourself or your student athlete's portfolio. Document season stats. A minimum one paragraph bio should be written in a common format such as an MS Word (.doc) file.
Old pictures can be scanned, action and group photographs are great for telling stories and in-uniform portrait style photos are useful for profiles.
While we can likely accept other formats we prefer .JPG or .GIF digital files. If possible, provide the name of the photographer in order that proper copyright credit can be given. For video files we can convert many common formats. Contact us with any questions you have.
Good colleges can be selective and they are especially selective with student athletes due to the limited pool of available sports scholarship funds. Subsequently, your student's academic and community service activities should be emphasized and documented in resume format.
If you have questions call 480.220.0339 or email your questions or comments.
Step 2 - Enter Resume Information
Go to resume entry page and enter your student athlete's information. Then, send the content (photos, word docs, etc.) to MarathonDigitalMedia.com for review.
Step 3 - Decide on a Site Name
Whether you're promoting your student athlete to a college or preparing her for the digital world we live in, we recommend that you reserve a relevant domain name. You are essentially staking claim to their spot on the Internet that may represent them for years to come. It's easy and relatively inexpensive. You can use the GoDaddy banner below to search for a name.
Site names constitute a type of branding. The site name and relevance is important to that branding process. It is always advisable that you reserve the name of the athlete if it is available. If the ".com" extension version is not available, check ".net" or other acceptable extensions.
If you're still having trouble finding a domain that is not already taken, try inserting a middle initial of other descriptive words like JoeTheQuareterback.com (example only.)
